A Disability Support Provider That Feels Like A Family... and makes you want to give 100%

Let's flip the script on disability care.

A collective of highly skilled carers, we’re a mould-breaking, boundary- bending support crew for people with spinal cord injuries (SCI) and ABIs (acute brain injuries) in the Gold Coast, Brisbane and Sunshine Coast.

OUR
PURPOSE?

To give people living with an SCI or

ABI 24/7 support that’s truly tailored.

 It’s about life their way.

Not the way the system says.

THINKING ABOUT JOINING OUR FAM?

THERE ARE A FEW THINGS YOU SHOULD KNOW ABOUT US

  •  We always put our participants first. Always.

  •  We believe that our clients should be able to do what they want and not be told what to do.

  •  We are unapologetically not what the industry expects.

FLIP DIFFICULT TO DOABLE

Join us as a support worker and become part of a collective of carers who feel, work and do things like a family

Relationships and real conversations are just the start of joining Carer’s Collective.

Teamwork is everything.

We build a support team around each client to make them strong. That’s why we get to know you before you join us, so we can be sure you’re a good fit for the people we support.

We rally around each client as a crew. From one shift handover to the next, we’re communicators, forward-thinkers and we keep our focus on the client.

“I like the family orientation. It’s a big thing - it’s easy to go from home life to work because it’s very familiar. There are no egos and no one is unapproachable!”

“I’ve been given a lot of benefits - so much flexibility with shifts and Josh has been really good to me. It works well with uni and I love the people I work with!”

"I like the ability to have a relationship with management and staff. I love how every time I do something wrong, you call and put me in check and you’re not afraid to do so - I know it comes from the heart. It’s family."

“Good bunch of blokes and we make a difference in people’s lives! Working with such good people, it makes you want to turn up and give 100!”

“It’s all about team work. I love the environment. I enjoy having a relationship with management and I feel they are there - you really get a family vibe. We have each other’s back. We support each other and move forward together!"

“The management team, we have a really close relationship. If we call them, they answer. I feel safe to call them and they’re always willing to give me feedback on anything I need to work on.”

OUR VALUES

We are honest. We start hard conversations and ask hard questions

WHAT IT'S LIKE TO BE IN OUR FAM

“I feel supported in the work I do. I love the workplace - everyone is a tap away, not only my team but the wider company. Turnpoint is so easy to navigate, everything is on there if I need it. I love the training. It's so good to have the insight and gain that knowledge of medication or high intensity training. Cassie contacted me and helped me book my CPR around uni and personal life. Life is busy and she made it so easy - it just shows how supported we are as staff.”

WHAT IT'S LIKE TO BE IN OUR FAM

"They hold their values strongly. Very family orientated and a tight bond. I am comfortable to bring things to the table."

WHAT IT'S LIKE TO BE IN OUR FAM

"Josh checked in on me- out of the blue. Norm checked in on me too. I like that a lot. My mates work here too and they love it. It’s a rewarding job. With Paul, seeing him progress in physio and hydro. The small stuff is really good!"
